In a continuous effort to support the transition to a cashless society and improve the customer experience, the Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB), the country’s largest private sector bank and the world’s best bank in the emerging markets, announced a strategic alliance with UBER Company, providing exclusive offers to its credit cardholders.
The new alliance aims to maintain customers’ convenience, enhance client value proposition, and promote the move towards cashless payments. CIB-Egypt and Uber have joined forces under a 1-year partnership, to provide exclusively tailored offers for the CIB community on their rides. To encourage CIB customers to digitally pay for their rides on the UBER application, UBER has customized ongoing offers for CIB credit cardholders.

Such products and services do not only empower customers to easily perform their daily transactions and payments, but they also support in building a cashless society.
Upon using a CIB credit card to pay for UBER, the customer will receive various promotions on their rides. All they have to do is to enter the designated PromoCode, based on their card type and they will enjoy different exclusive offers, which include but not limited to, free and discounted rides.
Since its launch in Egypt, Uber continues to develop and localize the rider experience through upgrades to its technology.
