Cairo, February 16, 2025- The CIB Foundation, the bank’s non-profit organization, has funded Al-Mabarra Hospital, enabling the acquisition of the needed medical equipment for its Pediatric Cardiology Unit. This funding will support 2,150 children.
The project aims to perform the needed echocardiography assessment for children suffering from congenital heart defects. Furthermore, it will provide the necessary intervention to those with suspected cardiac anomalies and rheumatic heart diseases through cardiac catheterization.
Commenting on the transaction, Mr. Amr El-Ganainy, Deputy CEO & Executive Board Member at CIB, said, “We are pleased to be partnering with Al-Mabarra Hospital, as this partnership underscores the bank’s commitment to providing the necessary funding for children fighting heart diseases, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.”
The signing event took place at the Ministry of Health and Population in the New Administrative Capital, in the presence of H.E. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development of Egypt and the Minister of Health and Population along with Mr. Amr El-Ganainy, Deputy CEO & Executive Board Member at CIB, and the CIB Foundation’s staff members.
