CIB, Egypt’s leading private-sector bank, has been awarded the “Mena Market Domestic Fund Award” by the LSEG Lipper Fund Awards, in partnership with CI Capital, a diversified financial services group, for managing the bank’s “Istethmar” fund.  Launched in February 2006, the “Istethmar” Fund is an equity investment fund with an investment size of EGP 100 million. This fund provides shareholders with the opportunity to invest in local and regional markets through administering medium to high-risk investment strategies. 

This award reflects the fund’s investment performance over the past decade across the Middle East and North Africa as well as its ability to safeguard capital. It also demonstrates CIB’s and CI Capital’s commitment to provide clients with superior investment services and a variety of investment options, achieving desirable returns.
