In its fourth edition of the Annual Women Awards in Businesses in the Middle East and North Africa, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) announced that the Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) was granted its award of “Best Bank in Egypt Supporting Women Owned and Women Run Businesses Award”.
This AmCham award is given to the organizations that dedicate a special attention to women in their community and demonstrate their support to them through providing a bouquet of services and products tailored for women. This award reflects then CIB-Egypt’s distinctive commitment toward supporting women, financing their business and projects and offering them many banking services and products, including, but not limited to, providing credit facilities to finance projects and offering the exclusive “Heya” credit card that comes with tailored benefits, local discounts and many offers. Besides, supporting talented women across different sectors come on top of the Bank’s priorities, this is translated in CIB-Egypt’s various sponsorships targeting gifted women, among which the sponsorship of the “Alnour Wal Amal” performance at the Cairo Opera House, which is an orchestra group consisting of blind Egyptian women only who succeeded to impress the world with their superb talents and overcome their disability.
It’s worth mentioning that the Women Awards Program in business administration, in the Middle East and North Africa was first launched in 2012, aiming to recognizing the pioneering women and institutions in the region whose achievements have set the benchmark in the corporate world for the new generations to follow.
By winning this award, CIB-Egypt qualifies automatically to run and compete for the same award category but on the regional level of the Middle East and North Africa.
