In line with the Bank’s commitment to support the integration of people with special needs into career life and provide equal opportunities, the Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) participated in the “Employment and Development Fair for People with Disabilities”. The Bank supported the event, which was inaugurated by the Minister of Social Solidarity Dr. Ghada Wally, as a golden sponsor.
CIB’s contribution reflects the bank’s strategy to support people with special needs, enhance their community participation and support the talented calibers of different age brackets.
Mr. Karim Youssef, CIB Head of Human Resources said, "CIB is and will always be one of the organizations employers maintaining an enduring support to people with special needs who has physically challenged talents, who can outstandingly be a driving force to the country’s development when granted equal and suitable opportunities in the society. It’s our commitment to pave the road for them to lead a normal life with a successful career path, where there work efficiency would be of great value. We (CIB) are very proud to be part of this and a firm supporter of the special needs’ talents and skills."
It is worth mentioning that CIB-Egypt leads many programs especially for people with special needs, such as having branches equipped to serve the bank’s customers with special needs and provide a convenient banking experience for them. Besides, the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibilities agenda has dedicated a priority to support citizens with special needs through various activities across different categories, including but not limited to, the cultural and art level, CIB-Egypt launched and sponsored initiatives to encourage the art talents in association with Sawy Culture Wheel, such as the “Different Abilities Partnership” and the “Language of Colors” exhibition. The Bank also sponsored special movies screenings with audio description held by Zawya Art House for the blind and visually impaired people, in addition to organizing entertainment and educational trips to IMax Cinema and Kidzania Edutainment City for children with special needs.
