CIB has been awarded one of the most prestigious Business Continuity Management Regional Excellence awards as “Most Effective Recovery 2016”. The award is offered by Business Continuity Institute – Middle East (BCI) which is one of the leading certification bodies in Business Continuity, Established in the United Kingdom in 1994. These coveted awards recognize organizations who have achieved a certain level of excellence in the fields of Continuity Management, Technology Recovery & Crisis Management in the Middle East. Award winners were announced on May 23rd in the Annual Business Continuity & Emergency Response Forum, Abu Dhabi, UAE. 

These awards well positions CIB as the only Egyptian private bank competing against Regional Organizations and Industry professionals in the Business Continuity Industry, and emphasizes the positioning of CIB as a market leader for implementing BCM Best practices. 

This becomes CIB’s 2nd Business Continuity Award winning after being awarded as global business continuity team of the year in 2015 by DRI International, and the 10th nomination for such global and regional awards. And by winning this award CIB is automatically nominated for BCI Global “Most effective recovery 2016” award along with the other regional award winners for the same category.
