Commercial International Bank (CIB) – Egypt announced its exclusive sponsorship of the national squash team in the World Squash Federation men's world team Championship, held in Marseille, France, from November 27 to December 3.
Twenty four nations compete for the title, including Egypt - the top-seeded team- England, France, Australia, Pakistan, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Argentina and Malaysia, in addition to the first-time participants Iraq and Jamaica.
CIB-Egypt's sponsorship reflects the Bank's firm commitment towards Egyptian athletes and its belief that sports are a key factor in shaping the health and minds of Egyptian youth. CIB maintained its sponsorship of the Egyptian Squash Federation for the sixth year running, which witnessed many significant achievements, including the first "Africa International Masters Squash" and the Women's World Junior Championships. This is in addition to the Bank's continuous financial support, to sustain the Federation's plan, to provide the needed requirements and equipment for talented junior players in order to develop their skills and support their participation in the local, regional and international tournaments.
