This new offering provides CIB noon credit card holders with a range of special offers and discounts when shopping on noon’s website.

Cairo, June 6, 2023—Commercial International Bank (CIB) has partnered with Noon, a Saudi Arabian e-commerce platform and VISA, a credit card service corporation, to launch the CIB noon credit card. 

Users can enjoy an immediate discount of 5% on noon purchases, the ability to install payments over a period of up to 15 months without interest, BONUS CIB points on purchases made outside the noon website, utilizing the priority delivery of noon express products, and obtaining special reward when activating the card. 

Commenting on the partnership, Rashwan Hammadi, CEO of Retail Banking at CIB, said “We are very pleased to partner with Noon and Visa. This partnership underscores our commitment to provide our customers with products and services that meet their evolving needs.” 

He added that this partnership marks a significant milestone in the banking sector, as its first dually branded credit card within the Egyptian market. Hammadi pointed out that the CIB noon credit card will offer customers a wide range of benefits and exclusive offers that will completely reshape customer's shopping experience.

A study conducted by Visa Stay Secure in 2022 showed that about 48% of customers in Egypt choose cards as a payment method if they receive rewards.
