The Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) Foundation adds a new achievement to its distinctive track record of supporting community development projects, by financing the rehabilitation and upgrade project of the Egyptian Red Crescent Community Health Center at Al-Nahda area in El Salam city in the province of Cairo, through its EGP 900k donation. The project was inaugurated on Tuesday, February 16th, with a total cost of EGP 1.2m.
The CIB Foundation directed this donation to support the development and renovation of this vital complex that serves thousands of patients in the area through seven specialized clinics, including pediatrics, a lab, dentistry, ear nose and throat (ENT), ophthalmology, internal medicine, and gynecology. The renovation operations lasted for six months, during which the preparation of technical and qualitative studies, designs and technical specifications booklet were finalized, along with the subtraction procedures, contracting and implementation of operations and medical installations.
The contribution and support of CIB Foundation in this project reflect the firm commitment of both CIB and the CIB Foundation toward the society, being keen to strengthen projects related to the health services offered to the less fortunate children in the society, noting that the Red Crescent Community Health Center at Al-Nahda provides medical care to roughly 24,000 children annually in this city.
The CIB Foundation was established in 2010 as a non-profit organization registered under number 588 for the year 2010 with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity and is dedicated to enhancing health services for under privileged children in Egypt.
