Evidencing its strong leadership of the Egyptian banking sector, the Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) adds a new success to its outstanding record of achievements, having its brand value ranked the first in Egypt, according to The Banker’s Top 500 Banking Brands.
CIB-Egypt reached a remarkable achievement in the 2017 rankings, the bank brand value had a significant uptick from USD 313m to USD 449m, hitting a growth rate of 43%. On the African continent level, CIB’s brand value is ranked 6th, while on the global sphere, it ranked the 269, leaping up 57 places from last year.
Such ranking from one of the world’s most renowned international organizations further cements the leading position of CIB-Egypt in the market and recognizes the outstanding performance of the Bank. It’s worth mentioning that CIB-Egypt hit another record full-year performance in 2016, achieving a consolidated revenue of EGP 11.3 billion and recorded net income of EGP 6.01 billion, leaping up with a 27% from 2015.
