​Maintaining its leading social role, specifically in the health care field, CIB Foundation participated, in cooperation with Yahia Arafa Children’s Charity Foundation, in the two projects of children catheterization unit and the renovation and development of children’s congenital and textual defects and cardiology unit at Ain Shams University Hospitals.

The Foundation dedicated a total of EGP 8m for the purchase of pediatric catheter and its associated equipment for treating children born with cardiac defects. This unit is one of the oldest children’s pediatric catheters in Egypt that was established in 1990 and serves nearly 600 child annually. Having the new catheter, the number of treated children will increase to 1000, which will consequently decrease the long queues of waiting list.

Established in 2010 as a non-profit organization, CIB Foundation is dedicated to supporting and enhancing health and educational services for under privileged children in Egypt, through financing projects of high and influence value that effectively improve children’s health and secure a decent social life for them.​
