You can submit an inquiry via Internet or Mobile Banking or send an email to cib.customercareunit@cibeg.com.
With Online Banking, you can submit requests from the comfort of your home rather than waiting in queues at a branch.
  1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  2. Click on “Apply for products” tab
  3. Select “Open new account”
  4. Choose account type
  5. Choose sub type
  6. Choose currency
  7. Choose which account to take and apply signature
  8. Click “Next”
  9. Read the terms and conditions
  10. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  11. Click “Submit”
  12. Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

Note:

  • Customers cannot open the same type of any of their existing accounts
  • Customer should have at least 1 active account
  1. Open the Internet or Mobile Banking page
  2. Click “Register New User”
  3. Select identification method
  4. Choose “Account Number” from the list
  5. Enter your account number
  6. Create username
  7. Create password
  8. Confirm password
  9. Read the terms and conditions
  10. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  11. Select next
  12. Enter the OTP password that is sent to your registered mobile number
  13. Select “Register”
  14. A confirmation message of successful registration will appear

    1.         Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account

    2.         Click the “Requests” tab

    3.         Select “Manage Smart Wallet”

    4.         Choose “Amend an existing Wallet” from application type

    5.         Select the desired amendment (Add a card/remove a card/replace a card)

    6.         Enter wallet mobile number

    7.         Choose the amendment type

    8.         Enter your National ID

    9.         Choose CIB card type

    10.   Enter CIB card number, expiration date, and name on card

    11.   Click “Submit”

    12.   Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

     

    Note: You can only link up to two of your CIB cards to your CIB Smart Wallet.

  1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  2. Click on “Apply for products” tab
  3. Select “Book CD or TD”
  4. Choose type then select from the fields that appear accordingly
  5. Click “Next”
  6. Read the terms and conditions
  7. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  8. Click “Confirm”

Note:

  • Customers with foreign currency loans cannot book CDs or TDs online and will have to visit a branch
  • TDs are booked the same day
  • CDs are booked the next business day
  1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  2. Click on the “Requests” tab
  3. Select “Update KYC”
  4. Update the field you wish to change
  5. Read the terms and conditions
  6. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  7. Click “Submit”
  8. Insert One Time Password (OTP) from your OTP app
  9. Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

Note:The following cases require a branch visit to update KYC:

  • Permanent address change
  • Financial information change
  • Passport number change


 

  1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  2. Click the “Requests” tab
  3. Choose “Manage Credit Card Direct Debit“
  4. Choose card number
  5. Choose account number
  6. Choose the direct debit percentage needed
  7. Click “Submit”
  8. Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

Note:

  • Direct debit percentage is either 5% or 100%
  1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  2. Click on the “Requests” tab
  3. Select “Replace Debit or Credit Card”
  4. Choose card type
  5. Choose the card account number
  6. Type the reason for replacement
  7. Click “Submit”
  8. Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

Note:

  • Credit cards will not be replaced if the card is over limit or the minimum due payment has not been settled for the past 30 day
    1. Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
    2. Click on the “Requests” tab
    3. Select “Manage Smart Wallet”
    4. Choose “Open a CIB Wallet” from application type
    5. Enter your mobile number
    6. Enter your National ID
    7. Enter your National ID expiration date
    8. Choose CIB card type
    9. Enter CIB card number, expiration date, and name on card
    10. Click “Submit”
    11. Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears
    12. You will receive an SMS that contains a download link and an activation code
    13. Download the CIB Smart Wallet app from either Apple, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery stores
    14. Enter your registered mobile number, read and accept the terms and conditions, then enter the activation code that was sent to you via SMS
    15. Create your six-digit password

     

    Your Smart Wallet is now activated and ready for transactions.

     

     

     

    What are the Smart Wallet registration requirements?

    • A valid mobile number. (Registered with the applicant’s national ID).
    • A valid national ID card.

     

    1.         Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account

    2.         Click the “Requests” tab

    3.         Choose “E-Statement Enrollment“

    4.         Read the terms and conditions

    5.         Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions

    6.         Click “Submit”

    7.         Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

     

You can register to Online Banking using one of the below methods:

  1. Account number
  2. Passport number
  3. National ID number
  4. Debit or credit card number

  5. Enter your passport number
  6. Create username

  11. Enter the OTP password that is sent to your registered mobile number
  12. Select “Register”
  13. A confirmation message of successful registration will appear
  1. Open the Internet or Mobile Banking page
  2. Click “Register New User”
  3. Select identification method
  4. Choose “National ID Number” from the list
  5. Enter your National ID number
  6. Create username
  7. Create your password
  8. Confirm password
  9. Read the terms and conditions
  10. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  11. Select Next
  12. Enter the OTP password that is sent to your registered mobile number
  13. Select “Register”

14. A confirmation message of successful registration will appear

  • TAT for changing direct debit is 2 business days
  • TAT for replacing a debit or credit card is 5 business days
  • TAT for updating KYC is 3 business days
  • TAT for booking a TD is on the same day, and 1 business day for CDs
  • TAT for Online Banking registration with account number, National ID, or passport number is immediate
  • TAT for opening an additional sub account is immediate

To follow up on the status of your submitted requests*:

  1. Log into your Internet Banking account
  2. Go to the “Requests” tab.
  3. Choose “Requests History” to see a list of all your submitted requests within the last 90 days which are marked under 3 categories as pending at the Bank side or approved or rejected.

*(This service is available on Internet Banking only and not available at the Mobile Banking Application)
