Accounts and deposits results
You can activate a debit or credit card through the following:
- Through visiting the nearest CIB ATM
- Use CIB's Interactive Voice Response
- Through SMS
- For Debit Cards: please send an SMS to 1491 from registered Egyptian mobile number with 01 followed by first 6 digits & last 4 digits of the debit card number
- For Credit Cards: please send an SMS to 1491 from registered Egyptian mobile number with 02 followed by last 4 digits of the credit card number
CIB wealth customers can receive a complimentary Wealth Platinum debit card at issuance.
Plus customers can apply for CIB Titanium debit card.
Make a deposit at a CIB branch or via ATM.
Card deposits are capped at EGP 100,000/day and card-less deposits are capped at EGP 20,000/day.
