InstaPay is the first payment service provider application licensed by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to operate through the Instant Payment Network, enabling instant transfers between banks 24/7. The CBE’s license entails full compliance of InstaPay with information security and data privacy legislations and requirements.
IPA stands for Instant Payment Address. It is a simplified address for your account, which can be used to send and receive cash transfers instead of a full bank account number or card details. Think of it as an email address that can be used to transfer money.
Each account has a unique IPN PIN across different apps

You should give permission for sending SMSes by following the below steps:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Select “Applications”
  3. Choose “Special Access” from the side menu
  4. Select “Use Premium SMS Services”
  5. Select InstaPay’s icon
  6. Click on “Always Allow”
  7. Retry sending the SMS
Each app allows you to create one IPA for each account, which means you can have any number of IPAs based on the number of accounts you have at different banks and the number of IPN apps used.
CIB is always responsible for securing and overseeing your account. Proper authorization from the customer is required to allow CIB to process the transaction.
Yes, Instapay is now available outside of Egypt for users to transfer funds between Egyptian banks, noting that you still need to enable the service using your active Egyptian SIM card to use the service
All banked customers and/or Meeza prepaid cardholders can benefit from IPN services through the InstaPay app owned by EBC.
