Smart Wallet results

The security questions were added to protect your data while using the wallet services. Additionally, in case you forgot your wallet PIN, or your wallet got locked, you can now easily reset your PIN through the app by answering the security questions amongst other validation requirements instead of contacting the customer service center.
Our SMS messages for Smart Wallet users are available in English and Arabic.

You can reset your PIN through the app by following the below steps:

  • On the app login screen, click on “Forgot your PIN”
  • Enter the mobile number registered on the wallet and your National ID
  • Enter the OTP received via SMS
  • Answer your previously set security questions
  • Upon successful validation, please set a new PIN and enter it twice. PIN should not include repetitive or consecutive numbers or a PIN that have previously been used.
The amount will be returned to your wallet.
Yes, you must have the cost of the request fee and desired amount in your wallet before requesting a card.
Yes, upon successful validation and setting the new PIN, you can instantly login to your wallet using the new PIN.
Smart Wallet users can pay up to EGP 60,000 per day and EGP 200,000 per month.
Smart Wallet users can transfer up to EGP 60,000 per day and EGP 200,000 per month.  
  • Please contact the Smart Wallet Customer Care line at 19716 to suspend your wallet.
  • Perform a SIM card swap.
  • Contact the Customer Care line again to reactivate your wallet.
  • You will receive an activation SMS.
  • Your wallet can then be used normally using your new PIN.

The first time you download the application, you can watch tutorials on the different services provided by the Smart Wallet. To learn more, log into your wallet, click on the side menu icon, then select “Service Information”.

You will find a description of each service, its fees, and a URL link to its educational video.

The card will be displayed once you select “Online Card” from the Smart Wallet homepage. Click on the card to retrieve the CVC.
Once you confirm the payment, the money will be instantly transferred to the other wallet.
  • Click on the side menu icon on the homepage.
  • Select “Settings”.
  • Select “Change PIN.”
  • Insert the old (current) wallet PIN.
  • Then insert the new wallet PIN twice.
  • Your wallet PIN will then be changed.
If you forgot your PIN & cannot access the app, you can reset your PIN easily from the app's login page, by clicking on “Forgot your PIN?” and following the steps on the app however, please note that Smart Wallet security questions must be set to be able to use this feature otherwise, please contact the call center to reset your PIN.

Yes, you need to set 3 security questions in case you are a new customer and logging for the first time, however, if it is not your first time to log in to Smart Wallet, you can skip setting the security questions step up to 3 times, but eventually, you will have to set them to enjoy the wallet services.
No, each mobile number can register for one wallet only.
Yes, for security reasons, if you entered a wrong PIN three consecutive times, your wallet will be locked. In case you already set your security questions. you can unlock your wallet by clicking on “Forgot your PIN?” from the login page and then follow the validation process to unlock your wallet. however, in case you didn’t set the security questions, please contact the call center.

If you can access the Smart Wallet app, you can amend the questions through the following:

1. From the homepage, on the side menu, click on “Settings”

2. Click on "Set or Change Security Questions", and amend the answers of already set question(s)

3. Enter your wallet PIN to confirm

If you forgot the questions and are trying to reset your wallet PIN, please contact the call center on 19716 and an agent will help you reset your credentials.
