To redeem the BONUS points for a BONUS Voucher, customers should: 

  • Visit our website at https://bonus.cibeg.com
  • Login to their account using any of their card/account numbers 
  • Check their available points balance 
  • Choose the E-voucher amount they would like to redeem, ensuring they have enough points 
  • Receive an SMS with a unique voucher on their registered mobile number, valid for 90 days 
  • Visit any of our participating merchant's checkout provide the voucher number registered mobile number and the last 6 digits of their National ID 
  • Receive a one-time password (OTP) on their registered mobile number

Using the CIB Mobile Banking application, you can access your personal accounts quickly and easily, but navigation and addition of related accounts are only available through Internet Banking. You can, however, add the accounts as beneficiaries and enjoy transferring to them through Mobile Banking.

  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Credit Cards” in the “Cards" section on the home page
  • Click on the required credit card
  • Click on “show my transactions”
  • The eligible transactions will have a label beside it that says “convert to installments”
  • Click on the eligible chosen transaction
  • Then, click on “convert to installments” 
  • Enter the preferred number of installments “months”
  • Read the terms and conditions
  • Check the box to agree on the terms and conditions
  • Click on “Continue”
  • Review the transaction details
  • Click on “Confirm”
  • The transaction will be converted into installments and will be found in the installments tab

In order to apply for the low-income CBE Mortgage initiative, please follow the steps below:

  1. Interested citizens may buy the "Terms and Conditions" copybook and apply from any post office.
  2. The Mortgage Finance Fund (MFF) reviews submitted documents and directs the accepted applicants via SMS to any of the bank's members in the initiative.

Customers can change card types by making a request from the CIB call center or your nearest branch.
  • Click on the side menu icon on the homepage.
  • Select “Settings”.
  • Select “Change PIN.”
  • Insert the old (current) wallet PIN.
  • Then insert the new wallet PIN twice.
  • Your wallet PIN will then be changed.
If you forgot your PIN & cannot access the app, you can reset your PIN easily from the app's login page, by clicking on “Forgot your PIN?” and following the steps on the app however, please note that Smart Wallet security questions must be set to be able to use this feature otherwise, please contact the call center to reset your PIN.

For Android users:

  • Click on the side menu icon on the homepage.
  • Select “Settings.”
  • Select “Change Language.”
  • Once you click on “Change Language,” the wallet will switch to Arabic/English language.

For iOS users:

  • Go to your phone’s settings.
  • Choose the language you want (Arabic or English).
  • Open the Smart Wallet application.

In case you remember your password and only need to change/update it, you can simply do this from the “Login Settings” under your profile, after you log into the app. Otherwise, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Tap on the “Forgot/Reset Password” from your Mobile Banking app
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Username: Input your Online Banking username
    2. Password: Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess
    3. Password Confirmation: Please enter your password again to make sure that it is typed correctly
    4. Debit/Credit Card Number: Please input the 16 digits of your active debit/credit card, without any spaces
    5. Debit/Credit Card PIN: Input the 4-digit PIN code of your debit/credit card
  3. Click on "Next".
