The eligibility for the fee waiver is determined by the bank policy and the refund could be 50% or 100% of the issuance fees except for World, World Elite, and EgyptAir cards. To get the refund, you need to activate your credit card within the first three months of issuance then the refund will be processed on the following month from activation. The refund is for the issuance fees only.

When making a transfer, you will be able to view all the transaction’s details, and you will be asked to confirm the validity of the information before the transaction is processed. Once you confirm the transaction, CIB will not be able to reverse it.

To return the money to your wallet, you will need to contact the recipient wallet’s owner to return the money. The Bank will not be required to return the funds.

If you enter your Online Banking password several times incorrectly, you will be locked out. In this case, please follow the below steps to unlock your user:

  1. Call 19666
  2. Select 3 (Technical support)
  3. Select 1 (Activate username)
  4. Enter the active debit/credit card 16 digits number
  5. Enter the card’s 4 digits PIN code

Do not forget: Passwords are case sensitive; make sure you are entering your password exactly as it is set up. If your password begins with a lowercase letter, you may need to use your phone’s Shift key to change the default from uppercase. In addition, some phones require extra presses on the shift key to enter numbers instead of letters.
