Requirements What you need to get a Mortgage as an Overseas customer
CIB Overseas mortgages are available to:
- CIB Overseas Wealth Customers
- Salaried employees
- Egyptian individuals residing and working in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- Minimum monthly net income of USD 4,000 or equivalent
Age:
- Minimum age: 25 years old.
- Maximum age: 60 years old at loan maturity
Required documents
- A copy of valid passport
- A valid residence permit
- Salary certificate (HR letter), validated from the Egyptian Consulate at the country of residence/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Bank statement of the last 6 months (Bank statements for last two months will be validated from The Egyptian Consulate at the country of residence/ Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
- Other documents may be required on a case-by-case basis
Steps for receiving the loan
- Applying through the website, e-mail, or SMS
- Sending all submitted documents (hard copies) to the bank via DHL
- The bank will approve the request after performing a credit assessment, property ownership check, and conducting a property evaluation
- Sending out letters of recommendation (approval) to the buyer and seller containing the required documents
- Signing the contracts and provide the seller with a check
Documents for the property to be purchased will also be required and will depend on the type of property and its location.
