Leading the digital banking and innovation in the market, Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB) announced the official launch of its Mobile Banking application, packed with the latest features that revolutionize its customers’ banking experience.
Under the theme of “Banking on the Go”, CIB Mobile Banking introduces yet another innovative digital banking channel, which ensures that customers can easily and securely bank and perform their daily payments and transactions routine from any place and at any time from their smart phones.
In this regard, CIB Mobile Banking has been developed to include state-of-the-art digital banking services to satisfy its customers’ needs, including easy access to view all bank accounts, credit cards, deposits and loans, transact between own accounts and/or other accounts inside or outside CIB in just few clicks, in addition to own/other CIB credit cards settlement.
The new application allows CIB customers to request chequebook, control and change supplementary card limits, and report a lost/stolen card immediately through few simple steps, in addition to many other services that the customers will discover once they download the mobile application.
“The mobile device has become an essential part of our lives, as it has become a tool for customers to interact with and acquire their goods and services. Therefore, it has become an imperative for financial service providers, such as CIB Egypt, to bring the bank to customer,” said Mr. Mohamed Farag, CIB Egypt Chief Digital Officer and Head of Global Transaction Services. “As people’s lives become busier, they will not only rely on their smartphones and mobile devices, but will demand an easy and intuitive customer experience that will help them reach their goal in the least amount of time, as they are on the move or while sitting from the comfort of their homes 24 hours around the clock,” he added.
Adding to the vast benefits and services offered to CIB customers, the new Mobile Banking grants as well many services to non-CIB customers, including free access to the foreign exchange rates. They can also locate all CIB Egypt branches and ATMs through the integrated maps and Augmented Reality feature, in addition to easily contacting the Bank, whether via email, Customer Service or social media pages.
It is worth mentioning that CIB-Egypt has been leading the Digital Banking offering by introducing a new, innovative bouquet of e-solutions that revolutionize the daily banking pattern. The Bank’s digital services are tailored specifically to meet the evolving needs of customers, both retail and corporate such as CIB Smart Wallet allowing customers to send money to one another instantly through their smart phones, which acts like a one-stop shop for paying all monthly recurring bills and mobile phone recharge for any number of people.
