  1. Open the Internet or Mobile Banking page
  2. Click “Register New User”
  3. Select identification method
  4. Choose “Account Number” from the list
  5. Enter your account number
  6. Create username
  7. Create password
  8. Confirm password
  9. Read the terms and conditions
  10. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  11. Select next
  12. Enter the OTP password that is sent to your registered mobile number
  13. Select “Register”
  14. A confirmation message of successful registration will appear
  1. Go to CIB Internet Banking page https://ebanking.cibeg.com
  2. Click on “Forgot / Reset Password”
  3. Fill in the following fields:
  • Username: Input your CIB Internet Banking Username
  • Password: Choose a new password
  • Password Confirmation: Enter your password again to make sure it is input correctly
  • Card Number: Input the 16 digits of your active debit/credit card without any spaces
  • Card PIN: Input the PIN code of your Debit/credit card

Click on “Reset”.

Please follow the below steps to further secure your information:

  • Do not share your Internet and Mobile Banking username and password with anybody
  • Do not share the PIN code of your card with anyone as it is used for Online Banking registration and password resetting
  • Log out of your Mobile Banking session when finished
  • Do not leave your mobile unattended without logging out
  • Password-protect your mobile device
  • Keep the operating system of your mobile device up to date
  • Inform the CIB call center right away if you lose the mobile phone number registered for the One Time Password (OTP) Higher Authentication.

In case you remember your password and only need to change/update it, you can simply do this from the “Login Settings” under your profile, after you log into the app. Otherwise, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Tap on the “Forgot/Reset Password” from your Mobile Banking app
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Username: Input your Online Banking username
    2. Password: Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess
    3. Password Confirmation: Please enter your password again to make sure that it is typed correctly
    4. Debit/Credit Card Number: Please input the 16 digits of your active debit/credit card, without any spaces
    5. Debit/Credit Card PIN: Input the 4-digit PIN code of your debit/credit card
  3. Click on "Next".

If you forget your username, follow the below steps:

  1. Call 19666
  2. Select 3 (Technical support)
  3. Select 1 (Retrieve username)
  4. Enter the active debit/credit card 16 digits number
  5. Enter the card’s 4 digits PIN code
  6. Username will be sent via SMS on your registered mobile number
Session timeout is designed to protect your Mobile Banking from being accessed by someone else when your device is unattended. If you leave a Mobile Banking session without activity for 5 minutes, you will be automatically logged out and directed to the main page upon trying to perform any activity after the session times out.

From the Internet Banking Home Page:

  1. Go to “Requests”
  2. Click on “Add Related Accounts”
  3. Fill in the form with your related account customer name, the related account number, relation type and your comments if any.
  1. Sign in to CIB Internet Banking
  2. Go to “Password Settings” under the “Settings” tab
  3. Click on “Change password” and fill in the following fields:
  • Old password
  • New password
  • New password confirmation

4. Click “Confirm” You can also reset your password without logging in by following the steps illustrated in the previous question.

  1. Click on “Forgot/Reset Password” through the app, and fill in the below:
  • Username: Input your Online Banking username.
  • New password
  • New password Confirmation
  • Debit/Credit Card Number
  • Debit/Credit Card PIN
  • Then click on “Next”.

If you enter your Online Banking password several times incorrectly, you will be locked out. In this case, please follow the below steps to unlock your user:

  1. Call 19666
  2. Select 3 (Technical support)
  3. Select 1 (Activate username)
  4. Enter the active debit/credit card 16 digits number
  5. Enter the card’s 4 digits PIN code

Do not forget: Passwords are case sensitive; make sure you are entering your password exactly as it is set up. If your password begins with a lowercase letter, you may need to use your phone’s Shift key to change the default from uppercase. In addition, some phones require extra presses on the shift key to enter numbers instead of letters.

From the Internet Banking home page, click on your preferred card and your activity will be displayed.
  1. Tap on the fingerprint icon on the landing page
  2. Choose “Enable Fingerprint Login”
  3. Enter your username and password. Your biometrics will be saved and you will be able to log in using your fingerprint.
  1. Log into your Mobile Banking app
  2. Go to “Login Settings” from your profile
  3. Tap on “Disable Fingerprint Login”.
  • Home Currency option gives you the capability of viewing your balances in your preferred currency.
  • You can change your Home Currency from the Internet Banking Home Page:
  1. Go to “Settings”
  2. Then “Profile Settings”
  3. Click on Change currency.

  3. “Transfer between your accounts”
  4. Select your source and destination accounts and click on “Next”
  5. Revise the payment details then click on “Transfer”.

In order to perform a third party transfer outside your own accounts, you have to set up your third party payment beneficiary first. This can be done through the following:

  1. From the Internet Banking home page
  2. Select “Money transfers”
  3. "Payments to Others”
  4. Click on “Add New” and set up your beneficiary
  5. From the Internet Banking home page
  6. Click “Edit” in the quick pay widget
  7. It will direct you to the Payments to others page
  8. Click on “Add New” and set up your beneficiary

You will also need a One Time Password (OTP) generated from either hard token or soft token to authenticate your third party payments.

  • Password has to be 8 to 12 characters in length
  • Password must be alphanumeric with a minimum of 2 letters and 2 digits: This means that a password cannot be all made of only letters or only numbers, but a combination of both with a minimum of 2 from each type
  • Password is case sensitive. If part of your password is capital or small letter, you will need to always type it the same way when you log on.
  • You cannot use Arabic letters in the password
  • Username cannot be part of the password
