This new feature allows you to view your securities portfolio held under the bank’s custody, including stocks, foreign securities, treasury bills and bonds through CIB Online Banking.
  1. Call 19666
  2.  Login to the Phone Banking service
  3. Select the “Digital services” menu
  4. Select “To receive your online banking username” option
  5. Then, an SMS will be sent to your registered number with your username
Yes, all new cards could be activated through CIB Online Banking services.
  1. Call 19666 from your registered mobile number
  2. The Phone banking service will detect if your Online Banking username is locked or not
  3. If yes, it will offer the option to unlock it or to proceed to the main menu
  4. Choose to unlock it, then enter your active debit or credit card number and its PIN
  5. An SMS will then be sent to your registered number confirming the successful unlocking and containing your Online Banking username as well
  1. Log into your Mobile Banking app
  2. Go to “Login Settings” from your profile
  3. Tap on “Disable Fingerprint Login”.

You can issue a chequebook through one of the following channels*:

  • Branch network
  • ATMs
  • Phone Banking

Internet Banking and Mobile Banking through the steps below:

  1. Go to “Requests”
  2. For Mobile Banking: Select “Other Requests” then “Request New Chequebook” For Internet Banking: Select “Request New Chequebook”
  3. Choose the branch you want it to be delivered to
  4. Fill out the form to complete your request

*To issue chequebooks, the account balance should be EGP 25,000. starting 22nd of June,2023

  • Log in to your Online Banking account 
  • Click on “Transfers” from the home page 
  • Choose “local” then select “IPN -Instant transfers” 
  • Click on “New Beneficiary” 
  • Enter the required beneficiary details (account number, IBANs, registered mobile number, IPA, card number, or mobile wallet) 
  • Choose “Save Beneficiary & Close” 
  • Create a nickname, select the sending account, then click on “Save Beneficiary” 
  • Enter the OTP from your activated CIB OTP token app 
  • Beneficiary will be added successfully

Yes, set/reset PIN feature is available through CIB Online Banking services. Please use following steps:

  • Log in to your CIB Online Banking account 
  • Select "Credit/Debit Cards" under the “Cards” section on the home page, or from the “Request Center” by click on “More” in the service bar 
  • Click on “Set/reset PIN” button 
  • Choose required card and click on “Continue” 
  • Click on” Forget PIN?” 
  • Insert new PIN & confirm, then click on “Continue” 
  • As a second factor of authentication, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number

Yes, you can change your current PIN by following below steps

  • Log in to your CIB Online Banking account 
  • Select "Credit/Debit Cards" under the “Cards” section on the home page or from “Request Center” by clicking on “More” in the service bar  
  • Click on “Set/reset PIN” button 
  • Choose the required card and click on “Continue” 
  • Enter your current PIN and click on “Continue” 
  • Insert new PIN and confirm, then click on “Continue”

The PIN will be changed successfully

You can now transfer money instantly through IPN directly from CIB Online Banking. This includes transfers to bank accounts, card numbers, mobile wallets, registered mobile numbers, and Instant Payment Addresses (IPAs).

To activate your debit/credit card, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your CIB Online Banking 
  • Select "Credit/Debit Cards" under the “Cards” section on the home page, or from the “Request Center” by clicking on “More” under the services bar 
  • Choose the required card 
  • Enter the expiry date of the card 
  • Check the box to Confirm that you have received the physical card 
  • Click on “Continue” 
  • As a second factor of authentication, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Investment Funds” section or the “Request Center”, then select “Sell Investment Funds” button.
  • Select the fund you wish to redeem.
  • Enter the number of units you wish to redeem.
  • Select the account to credit the amount to.
  • Read the terms and conditions.
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions.
  • Read the order summary.
  • Click on "Confirm” to submit your redemption order.
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page, where you can download the order receipt by clicking on “Download” button.
  • Login to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Transfers” from the home page
  • Choose the type of transfer you need to perform
  • Click on “New Beneficiary”
  • For an Inside CIB beneficiary, enter the account number or IBAN number
  • For an outside transfer, enter all required beneficiary and bank details
  • Choose “Save Beneficiary & Close”
  • Create a nickname for the beneficiary, select the sending account, then click on “Save Beneficiary”
  • Enter the OTP from your activated CIB OTP token app
  • Beneficiary added successfully
  1. Click on “Forgot/Reset Password” through the app, and fill in the below:
  • Username: Input your Online Banking username.
  • New password
  • New password Confirmation
  • Debit/Credit Card Number
  • Debit/Credit Card PIN
  • Then click on “Next”.

Yes, the service is available for all account types. Please follow steps below:

  • Log in to your CIB Online Banking account 
  • Select “Accounts” from the home page or from the “Request Center” by clicking on “More” under the “Services” menu, then select “Issue a Debit Card”
  • Choose the required account to be linked to the new card 
  • Choose the name which will be printed/labeled on the card 
  • Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click on “Continue” 
  • Review all data, then click on “Confirm”
  • As a second factor of authentication, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Investment Funds” section or the “Request Center”, then select “Sell Investment Funds” 
  • Select the fund you wish to redeem
  • Enter the number of units you wish to redeem
  • Select the account to credit the amount to
  • Read the terms and conditions
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  • Read the order summary
  • Click on "Confirm” to submit your redemption order
  • You will be directed to a confirmation page, where you can download the order receipt by clicking on “Download” 

 

  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • In the “Cards" section on the home page, select the card you want to add to Apple Wallet
  • Tap on "Add to Apple Wallet"
  • Follow the instructions provided by Apple on the screen
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Credit Cards” under the “Cards” section on the home page
  • Select the card and click on “Show My Transactions”
  • Select the transaction to dispute
  • On the transaction details page, click on “Dispute this Transaction”
  • Fill in the dispute reason
  • Click on “submit”
  • Request submitted successfully
You can log in to CIB Online Banking, navigate to the “Securities” section, select “Securities Portfolio” and click on the preferred type to view the details.
