You can activate a debit or credit card through the following:

1. Through visiting the nearest CIB ATM
2. Use CIB's Interactive Voice Response
3. Through SMS

- For Debit Cards: please send an SMS to 1491 from registered Egyptian mobile number with 01 followed by first 6 digits & last 4 digits of the debit card number
- For Credit Cards: please send an SMS to 1491 from registered Egyptian mobile number with 02 followed by last 4 digits of the credit card number

The Higher Authentication access with OTP allows you to transfer funds outside your relation to other CIB clients or any worldwide accounts outside CIB.

Yes. You can transfer money between your accounts, other CIB accounts/credit cards on your beneficiary list, as well as other institutions outside the CIB.

IPN enabled Banks; to send from bank accounts, and receive from bank accounts, Meeza Digital wallets and Meeza cards

IPN is an instant payment network that allows direct access to all accounts and real time instant fund transfer using your mobile device or desktop. The transactions can be processed through approved apps such as InstaPay, owned by EBC.
