Transfers in Egyptian Pound inside CIB (No fees)

Transfers in Egyptian Pound outside CIB inside Egypt (Fees are waived):

• Commission:0.2% minimum EGP 40 - maximum EGP 350

Transfers in a foreign currency:

• Commission: 0.3% from the amount with a minimum of USD 20 - maximum USD 150
• Swift Charges: Equivalent to USD 10 through Online Banking.
• The charges are equivalent to USD 20 if executed through CIB branches
• Beneficiary Bank Fees: Based on the beneficiary bank's fees and charges. The USD equivalent is calculated upon execution and is based on CIB’s daily currency free market rate

If the transfer is conducted through IPN to one of the banks participating in the Instant Payment Network, the commission will be 0.2% with a minimum of EGP 10 and a maximum of EGP 50 (Fees are waived)

Meeza wallet transfers through Internet or Mobile banking is free of charge

If the account balance consistently exceeds the eligibility criteria for a certain period, the Bank will upgrade the customer to the most appropriate offering.

• Copy of a valid national identification card
• Income proof:
  • In case of salary transfer, a recent HR letter.
  • In case of non-salary transfer:
    • a recent HR Letter or three salary slips.
    • Bank statement for the last three months or the last three salary slips.
  • In Case of self employed and professionals:
    • Bank account statement (personal or corporate) for the last six months.
    • Original valid commercial register.

• Balance: The current balance is the actual balance of the account at the beginning of the business day. It is the balance that is printed on bank statements.
• Available to Use: The amount of money in an account that is available for immediate withdrawals or any other type of use. It represents the difference between the account balance and any activity that has not yet been reflected on the account, such as pending deposits, cheques and withdrawals.

InstaPay will inform you of the transaction status instantly. The status can be one of the following:

• Successful Transaction: The transfer amount is credited to the beneficiary’s account.
• Rejected Transaction: The transfer was rejected and the transfer amount is reversed to your account.
• Pending Transaction: The transaction is sent to the beneficiary’s bank to be executed, but the bank hasn’t confirmed crediting the transfer amount to the beneficiary’s account. The transaction status will be updated shortly to either “successful” or “rejected”.

• Log in to your Online Banking account
• Click on “More" on the home page, under "Services"
• Click on "Requests Center"
• Click on “My Requests”, then select “Other Services”
• Choose from one of the following options:

• Send an inquiry
• Provide a suggestion
• Submit a complaint
