Internet Banking and Mobile Banking through the steps below:

  1. Go to “Requests”
  2. For Mobile Banking: Select “Other Requests” then “Request New Chequebook” For Internet Banking: Select “Request New Chequebook”
  3. Choose the branch you want it to be delivered to
  4. Fill out the form to complete your request

*To issue chequebooks, the account balance should be EGP 25,000. starting 22nd of June,2023

Yes, you can have a notification appear on your Internet banking home page once you sign in if an account’s balance falls below or rises above a certain limit, this can be done through “Notifications” under the “Settings” tab where you can set up your rule.

You can add a new card or amend an existing one via your Online Banking account.

Online Banking (Mobile and Internet Banking)

  • Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account.
  • Click the “Requests” tab.
  1. For Mobile Banking: Select "Other Requests" then "Manage Smart Wallet"
  2. For Internet Banking: Select: "Manage Smart Wallet'
  • Choose “Amend an Existing Wallet” from the application type.
  • Select the desired amendment (Add a card/remove a card/replace a card).
  • Enter the mobile number registered to your wallet.
  • Choose the amendment type.
  • Enter your National ID number.
  • Choose the CIB card type.
  • Enter the CIB card number, expiration date, and card name.
  • Click “Submit.”
  • Click “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears.

   

Note:

  • You can choose up to two CIB cards to link to your CIB Smart Wallet.
  • The requested card will replace any cards linked to your CIB Smart Wallet. Requesting to link a card that is already linked to another wallet will be rejected.
  • Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  • Go to “Requests”
  • For Mobile Banking: Select “Cards Management” then “Dispute Credit Card Transaction”

           For Internet Banking: Select “Dispute Credit Card Transaction”

  • Fill out the dispute form on your chosen credit card and mention the reason for dispute

You can easily set up beneficiaries through the application by:

  1. Clicking on “Transfers” in the menu,
  2. Navigating to “Payments to Others”
  3. Clicking on “Add New”
  4. Choose the beneficiary type, and fill in the required beneficiary details
  5. Then enter the 6-digit OTP from your OTP token
  6. Click “Next” to save the beneficiary.

  3. Fill in the form with your related account customer name, the related account number, relation type and your comments if any.

With Online Banking, you can submit requests from the comfort of your home rather than waiting in queues at a branch.
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Credit Cards” under the “Cards” section on the home page
  • Select the card and click on “Show My Transactions”
  • Select the transaction to dispute
  • On the transaction details page, click on “Dispute this Transaction”
  • Fill in the dispute reason
  • Click on “submit”
  • Request submitted successfully
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Add Icon (+)”, next to the “Savings & Investments” section
  • Click on “Certificates of Deposits (CD)/Time Deposit (TD)”
  • Click on “Book now” for either Certificate of Deposit or Time Deposit
  • Fill in the required information, such as currency, interest frequency, tenor, maturity instructions, debit account, deposit amount and choose the accounts that amount will be debited from, principle credited to and interest account to credit to
  • Review the Certificate of Deposit (CD)/Time Deposit (TD) request summary
  • Read the terms and conditions
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  • Click on “Confirm”
  • Time Deposit (CD)/ /Time Deposit (TD) booked successfully
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • Click on “Add Icon (+)”, next to the “Loans” section
  • Click on “Loans”
  • Fill in the required information, such as type of loan, amount, purpose and loan tenor
  • Review the loan summary
  • Read the terms and conditions
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  • Click on “Confirm”
  • Loan request submitted successfully
  • Log in to your Online Banking account
  • When using the Mobile Banking app, click on “More” on the bottom of the page
  • Click on “Request Cheque Book” under “Services”
  • When using the Internet Banking service, click on "Services" on the home page and select "Request Center"
  • Then, click on "Request Cheque Book"
  • Fill in the required data, such as the account for the Cheque Book, number of leaves, area and delivery branch
  • Review the Cheque Book Issuance Request Summary
  • Click on “Submit Request”
  • Request submitted successfully
Since visiting a CIB branch will not be accessible to you, an exclusive service to meet your needs and proceed with your requests while abroad through recorded calls will be available. This allows you to conduct a number of requests, such as issuing certificates of deposits, chequebooks, replace debit cards, open or close sub accounts and more. To enroll, please sign the request form during your next CIB branch visit and get started!
You can simply use your existing Internet Banking username and password to access the app, which allows you to monitor your accounts, credit cards, loans, deposits and mutual funds. If you are not registered for the service, please make sure you register either through the application or through Internet Banking.
To ensure your security, access to your account via CIB Online Banking will be locked after five consecutive unsuccessful attempts. You can have it unlocked by contacting our Call Center at 19666.
Once you have your Related Accounts added on the Internet Banking, simply click on “Related Accounts” in the main menu and the list of your related accounts will be presented. Click on the “Access Account” button next to the required account to access it.
