In case the unit is located in New Urban Communities:

In case the unit is located in old market:

  • A copy of the building permit & a copy of the land’s contract which is registered at the Real Estate registration office.
  • Or a copy of the unit’s contract, registered at the Real Estate registration office.

For existing CIB customers, you can book your certificate of deposit or time deposit easily through the Internet Banking service or Mobile Banking App.

For new customers, please visit the nearest branch to open an account and book your Certificate of Deposit or Time Deposit. Make sure to bring the following documents:

  • Valid National ID or valid passport for foreigners
  • Recent original utility bill (electricity or gas)
  • Proof of income
  • Proof of permanent residence for foreigners
  • Egyptians need a valid national ID or passport
  • Proof of employment
  • Proof of residence if your address differs from the address on your ID
  • In case the PA person has another nationality (88) in NID, they should bring their passport or birth certificate
  • If US nationality, the Indicia and FATCA process will be followed.

Required documents for opening a Savings Account:

  • Age 15 to 21 years old: A valid national ID, university ID (in case the customer is a university student), and guardian’s proof of income
  • Age 21 and above: 
    • A copy of your valid National ID, or valid passport for foreigners
    • Recent original utility bill (electricity or gas)
    • Proof of income
    • Proof of permanent address for foreigners

Required documents for opening a Current Account:

  • Starting Age 21 years old;
    • Copy of your valid National ID, or valid passport for foreigners
    • Recent original utility bill (electricity or gas)
    • Proof of income
    • Proof of permanent address for foreigners

Required documents for opening a Bedaya Savings Account:

  • Offered to new Egyptian customers only, starting age 15 years old
    • Valid National ID
    • Utility bill (only in the case that the customer chooses an address other than the ID address)

Required documents for opening a Minor Account:

  • The Minor Account is a savings account that can be opened by the minor’s guardian (Natural/Legal) for minors up to the age of 21
    • Valid National ID for the guardian or valid passport for foreigners
    • Electronic birth certificate for the minor (or a valid National ID if the minor is 15 years old)
    • Proof of income for the guardian
    • Proof of permanent address for foreigners
    • Recent original utility bill (electricity or gas)
    • Appointment decree issued by the family prosecution (in case of legal guardian)
  • You only need to have an active debit or credit card on an active Saving/Current Account or an active credit card
  • An active debit card means it has been used at least once through a CIB ATM
  • An active credit card means than it has been activated through CIB Call Center
  • You need to have your debit/credit card PIN code
  • You have to sign the e-service agreement at the nearest branch.

EGP 40* for amounts less than EGP 20,000.

*Fees are waived for Wealth, Exclusive Wealth and Private customers. For customers holding a Bedaya Savings Account or Easy Accounts, a fee of EGP 100 will be deducted on withdrawals from branches regardless of the amount, except for when a customer is requesting to withdraw because of closing their account. 

 

  • The service is provided for e-commerce transactions and purchases performed through the Point of Sale (POS) through the merchants.
  • The credit cardholder has to request the zero interest installments from the merchant before processing the transaction.
  • The minimum transaction amount is determined by the merchant.
  • The installment repayment period is determined based on the deal between the Bank and the merchant.
  • There is no maximum number of enrollments in the Installment Payment Plan service as long as they are within the card’s credit limit.
  • The first installment is due on the month following the month of enrollment.
  • The installment is posted as part of the due amount, which is the installment/s plus the minimum amount due out of total non-enrolled balance in the Installment Payment Plan, if any.
  • The cardholder should adhere to the monthly installments. If the principal amount of the Installment Plan is settled before maturity date, the service will be automatically canceled.
  • This service will not be available if the card is over limit, delinquent, and/or suspended. Active services might be automatically canceled for the same reasons.
  • The refunded transactions do not cancel the enrolled transactions in the installment plan. The customer must contact the call center on 19666 to proceed with the cancellation process.
