In case you remember your password and only need to change/update it, you can simply do this from the “Login Settings” under your profile, after you log into the app. Otherwise, you can follow the below steps:

  1. Tap on the “Forgot/Reset Password” from your Mobile Banking app
  2. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Username: Input your Online Banking username
    2. Password: Choose a password that is easy for you to remember, but hard for others to guess
    3. Password Confirmation: Please enter your password again to make sure that it is typed correctly
    4. Debit/Credit Card Number: Please input the 16 digits of your active debit/credit card, without any spaces
    5. Debit/Credit Card PIN: Input the 4-digit PIN code of your debit/credit card
  3. Click on "Next".

If you forget your username, follow the below steps:

  1. Call 19666
  2. Select 3 (Technical support)
  3. Select 1 (Retrieve username)
  4. Enter the active debit/credit card 16 digits number
  5. Enter the card’s 4 digits PIN code
  6. Username will be sent via SMS on your registered mobile number

If you enter your Online Banking password several times incorrectly, you will be locked out. In this case, please follow the below steps to unlock your user:

  1. Call 19666
  2. Select 3 (Technical support)
  3. Select 1 (Activate username)
  4. Enter the active debit/credit card 16 digits number
  5. Enter the card’s 4 digits PIN code

Do not forget: Passwords are case sensitive; make sure you are entering your password exactly as it is set up. If your password begins with a lowercase letter, you may need to use your phone’s Shift key to change the default from uppercase. In addition, some phones require extra presses on the shift key to enter numbers instead of letters.

Transfers in Egyptian Pound inside CIB (No fees)

Transfers in Egyptian Pound outside CIB inside Egypt (Fees are waived):

  • Commission:0.2% minimum EGP 40 - maximum EGP 350

Transfers in a foreign currency:

  • Commission: 0.3% from the amount with a minimum of USD 20 - maximum USD 150
  • Swift Charges: Equivalent to USD 10 through Online Banking.
  • The charges are equivalent to USD 20 if executed through CIB branches
  • Beneficiary Bank Fees: Based on the beneficiary bank's fees and charges. The USD equivalent is calculated upon execution and is based on CIB’s daily currency free market rate

If the transfer is conducted through IPN to one of the banks participating in the Instant Payment Network, the commission will be 0.2% with a minimum of EGP 10 and a maximum of EGP 50 (Fees are waived)

Meeza wallet transfers through Internet or Mobile banking is free of charge

Since you are already an Internet Banking user, you can use the same username and password to log into Mobile Banking.

Online banking results

  • Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  • For Mobile Banking: Select “Products” then “Apply for Loan or Card”

           For Internet Banking: Select “Requests” then “Apply for Loan or Card”

  • Enter your National ID number
  • Select the desired product you are applying for (loan or credit card)
  • If you’re applying for a credit card, select the desired credit card type. If you’re applying for a loan, enter the requested amount
  • Enter net monthly income
  • Enter employer’s name
  • Enter job title
  • Read the terms and conditions
  • Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions
  • Press “Submit”
  • Press “Confirm” once the confirmation message appears

 

Note: A bank representative will get back to the customer within one business day.

Customer to provide signed documents in case of the application approved.

 

To review your transaction status, doublecheck your account activity and balance to confirm that your transaction was carried out successfully. If it was not, please refer to the call center.
  • Log into your Internet or Mobile Banking account
  • Go to “Requests”
  • For Mobile Banking: Select “Cards Management” then “Dispute Credit Card Transaction”

           For Internet Banking: Select “Dispute Credit Card Transaction”

  • Fill out the dispute form on your chosen credit card and mention the reason for dispute
  1. Navigate to “Payments to Others”,
  2. Go to the beneficiary you want to edit and swipe right,
  3. Edit and delete buttons will appear
  4. Click on the required action.

You can easily set up beneficiaries through the application by:

  1. Clicking on “Transfers” in the menu,
  2. Navigating to “Payments to Others”
  3. Clicking on “Add New”
  4. Choose the beneficiary type, and fill in the required beneficiary details
  5. Then enter the 6-digit OTP from your OTP token
  6. Click “Next” to save the beneficiary.

From the Internet Banking Home Page:

  1. Go to “Requests”
  2. Click on “Add Related Accounts”
  3. Fill in the form with your related account customer name, the related account number, relation type and your comments if any.

Yes:

  1. Click on the account you wish to monitor,
  2. Click on the round orange button
  3. Choose “Account Statistics” to view graphs of your account balance, income vs. spending and a seven-day summary graph of your spending. Also remember that you can label your transactions by clicking on any transaction within the account activity and labeling it to your preference.

You can issue a chequebook through one of the following channels*:

  • Branch network
  • ATMs
  • Phone Banking

Internet Banking and Mobile Banking through the steps below:

  1. Go to “Requests”
  2. For Mobile Banking: Select “Other Requests” then “Request New Chequebook” For Internet Banking: Select “Request New Chequebook”
  3. Choose the branch you want it to be delivered to
  4. Fill out the form to complete your request

*To issue chequebooks, the account balance should be EGP 25,000. starting 22nd of June,2023

You have to input all data related to the beneficiary as well as the beneficiary’s bank. You will also need a One Time Password (OTP) generated from either hard token or soft token to authenticate your 3rd party payments.

  • Transfer to Own Account (Same & Cross)
  • Transfer to Other CIB (Same & Cross)

Those can be set either from:

  1. Click on the desired account that will be used as a source account in setting up the recurring or the forward dated transaction then click “View More”
  2. Go to the “Scheduled Transactions” tab
  3. Choose whether it is a transaction between your accounts or to a 3rd party
  4. Click on “Add New”
  5. Enter the details and confirm.

While performing a transfer, click on “Options” and turn on the recurring option and choose the transaction frequency.

  • You may add/delete/modify any of your beneficiaries’ details through the payments to others page
  • You can add a new beneficiary from the "Add New" button at the top of the page
  • You can edit a beneficiary by clicking on the beneficiary then the "Edit" button
  • You can delete a beneficiary by simply clicking on "Delete".
  • Password has to be 8 to 12 characters in length
  • Password must be alphanumeric with a minimum of 2 letters and 2 digits: This means that a password cannot be all made of only letters or only numbers, but a combination of both with a minimum of 2 from each type
  • Password is case sensitive. If part of your password is capital or small letter, you will need to always type it the same way when you log on.
  • You cannot use Arabic letters in the password
  • Username cannot be part of the password
Yes, you can have a notification appear on your Internet banking home page once you sign in if an account’s balance falls below or rises above a certain limit, this can be done through “Notifications” under the “Settings” tab where you can set up your rule.
  • The username has to be alphanumeric with no Arabic characters: You can use letters and/or numbers, but all letters have to be in English
  • Maximum username length is 30 characters: You can have a username of one letter or one number if you find it available, but you cannot go over 30 in length
  • Username is case sensitive: If part of your username is capital or small letter, you will need to always type it the same way when you log on
  • Spaces and special characters (“ ' * % & /) are not allowed
  • If you are consistently receiving invalid credentials error, please make sure you try a different username.
We currently have a basic Personal Financial Management (PFM) implemented that allows you to categorize your transactions. Click on the desired account on the home page –> click “View more” --> go to “My Money” tab. You can find a weekly and monthly summary graph displaying the debit and credit transactions related to your account. These transactions are categorized according to their labels (if you already labeled the transactions, they will all be displayed as “uncategorized”). You can also view a monthly pie chart categorizing all transactions according to their label and displaying the percentage of each transaction type with respect to the total transactions. In addition, you can track your account's daily balance.

Using the CIB Mobile Banking application, you can access your personal accounts quickly and easily, but navigation and addition of related accounts are only available through Internet Banking. You can, however, add the accounts as beneficiaries and enjoy transferring to them through Mobile Banking.
